The Zone Lookout update arrives for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
The Zone Lookout update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the first major update since Archmajor 2.0.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has received The Zone Lookout update. A Steam announcement on October 26, 2026 states it is the first major update after the Archmajor 2.0 update. The game was released on Steam on November 20, 2024.
The update adds an option to increase A-Life NPC visualisation distance and a fast travel system with squad leaders. It updates binocular functionality for the new streaming distances and improves anomaly behaviour, including streaming distance, dead body interactions, and visuals of the CNPP arch-anomaly. It also fixes missing NPCs in PS5 missions, DLC and add-ons not applying on first launch on SteamOS, and GeForce NOW users being unable to launch DLC.
On Steam, the game supports Turkish for the interface and subtitles but has no Turkish audio. PlayAndPatch has the game page but no Turkish translation or trainer yet.
